I know I’ve talked about my husband on this blog several times before… a complete woodworking master, an artist at heart. The “wow” factor kind of guy. The one that spends his entire Saturday building a slip and slide out of a trampoline, folding table and tarp for his kids.
It Tastes Better with Crab
I’d like to skip the story telling of this week’s blog and get right down to the recipe. It’s only once (maybe twice) a year that I actually make this dish because of how expensive these babies can get at the grocery store. Not only that, its quite labor intensive while eating… AND requires A LOT of napkins!!! And butter.
The Mother Bird
Since moving to Washington, we’ve had a little family of Hummingbirds flock to our front porch. Every morning, I am greeted by this sweet little song bird… The kids call the mother, “GreenBack”. Although there is nothing romantic about her name, Greenback has become our friend.
Im A Pickle Person
My garden is finally in full bloom. So much so that I had to cut back some of the monstrous zucchini growing in it. I can honestly say I’m tired of zucchini here in the Pacific Northwest!!! Im running out of things to do with it.
